Owner: Abu dhabi Sports Council Consultants: Al Khail Engineering Consultant Contractor: Trans Emirates Electrical & Mechanical Company WLL Description The project provides a state-of-the-art ladies-only sports and recreational facility unmatched in the City of Al Ain, and is part of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council's mission to ensure the provision of such facilities within the Abu Dhabi Emirate. The project contains a fully-equipped gym and aerobics hall that can be used to host bowling, snooker, basketball, volleyball and squash events. It also has a half-Olympic-sized swimming pool, an outdoor bicycle track and some tennis courts. The complex also contains a beauty centre & spa, plus playground facilities for children. The building has a gross floor area of around 13,500m2 and spreads over a ground and two upper floors. It has been designed to achieve a 2-Pearl rating from Estidama for sustainability.
